Job summary

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services in Unity, NH is seeking an Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence and improve quality of life. You will evaluate patients, create treatment plans, and deliver therapy services in a collaborative setting.

The position is Monday-Friday, 35 hours per week with no weekend rotation. NH licensure and 1–2 years of OT experience are preferred; strong communication and documentation skills are essential for coordinating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles, techniques, and modalities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient in electronic medical records and documentation.
• Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals
• Provide occupational therapy services, such as therapeutic exercises, activities, and adaptive equipment, to help patients improve their functional abilities
• Educate patients and their families on techniques and strategies to promote independence and improve daily living skills
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and speech therapists, to ensure coordinated and effective care for patients
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care plans
• Stay current with industry developments and advancements in occupational therapy through continuing education and professional development opportunities
