Job summary

Occupational Therapist- Mobile Outpatient is needed to provide home-based OT services to older adults in MetroWest, MA, with a focus on dementia care. We seek an OT or OTA who thrives in community settings and can grow clinical specialties within a supportive team.

You will deliver individualized interventions, educate families, and document per standards while collaborating with caregivers and other therapists. Flexible scheduling allows part-time or full-time work with a manageable caseload.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OT or OTA program.
• Active Massachusetts OT or OTA license in good standing.
• Passion for geriatrics and dementia care, with a willingness to advance dementia-focused practices.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to provide services independently in client homes and community settings.
• Commitment to collaborative, client-centered care and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized interventions including dementia care programs (e.g., Skills2Care®), lymphedema support, adaptive equipment training, and functional skill development.
• Educate families and caregivers on strategies to support independence, safety, and quality of life.
• Collaborate with physical therapists, caregivers, and community partners to provide holistic care.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with professional standards and company policies.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and community education events.

Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate OT or OTA who loves working with older adults, particularly those with dementia, and who is eager to advance dementia-focused practices.
