Job summary

Vertis Therapy in Kansas City, KS seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat residents in an Assisted Living community with Memory Care. The OT will develop individualized plans, monitor progress, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Depending on role and schedule, you may supervise COTAs, lead wellness events, and contribute to ongoing professional development. A caring team and meaningful impact on residents' quality of life are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid Occupational Therapist state license or license eligibility.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to develop effective treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents' functional abilities and establish plans to improve independence and quality of life.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services and monitor patient progress.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants as appropriate.
• Participate in team development meetings and lead wellness programs.
