Job summary

CTC Academy in Oakland, NJ is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team for a full-time maternity position covering January 2027 through June 2027. You will serve students ages 7–21 and collaborate with PT, ST, teachers, and nurses to deliver coordinated care.

The caseload is 12 students, with weekly supervision and team meetings to support professional growth. A NJ OT license and School Certificate eligibility are required, with a generous benefits package

Qualifications

• Current licensure in Occupational Therapy in the state of New Jersey.
• Current certification or eligible for NJ Department of Education School Certificate.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to students ranging from ages 7-21.
• Work closely with Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Classroom teachers, and Nursing staff to deliver a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to student care.
• Manage a caseload of 12 students, ensuring personalized and focused therapy.
• Participate in weekly supervision and multidisciplinary team meetings to support professional growth and enhance service delivery.
• Work with a diverse caseload that may include students with unique adaptive equipment needs, sensory issues and vision impairments.
