Occupational Therapist – Longwood, FL
FOX Rehabilitation is growing in Longwood, Florida and is looking for licensed Occupational Therapists passionate about delivering exceptional one‑on‑one care to older adults. You’ll work in private residences or senior‑living communities, using our signature Geriatric House Calls™ model to improve mobility, independence, and quality of life.
This position is ideal for OT clinicians who value autonomy and flexibility, enjoy creating and managing their own treatment schedule, and want to build lasting patient relationships. Telehealth and other virtual care options are available for greater flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Provide one‑on‑one occupational therapy to older adults in private residences, senior‑living communities, independent living, assisted living, and memory care settings.
- Perform evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and deliver evidence‑based treatment.
- Deliver therapy sessions that support patient wellness, longevity, mobility, and functional independence.
- Document effectively within FOX’s EMR system in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of PTs, OTs, SLPs, and fitness specialists.
- Educate patients, caregivers, and senior‑living staff to promote safety, function, and aging in place.
- Provide telehealth/virtual care when appropriate to extend access and flexibility.

Employment Types

- PRN / FOX Flex Occupational Therapist – Home & Community Visits (pay per unit compensation)

Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or eligibility to obtain.
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Basic computer and EMR proficiency.
- Current CPR certification.
Physical Requirements
- Medium physical effort: lift 25–50 lbs occasionally, 10–25 lbs frequently, up to 10 lbs constantly.
- Perform CPR.
- Assist with patient transfers and bed mobility.
- Reposition patients; stand, walk, climb stairs, and perform therapeutic activities for extended periods.
- Drive to patient homes and senior‑living communities as part of the Geriatric House Calls™ model.
- Wear PPE when required.
