ECU Health is looking for an Occupational Therapist at ECU Health North Hospital. This role involves assessing and executing treatment plans tailored to patient needs while supervising students and other staff. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy and have at least ten years of licensure experience.
The position requires NCBOT and NBCOT certifications, and offers a chance to work in a supportive and diverse employment environment.
Responsible for assessing, treatment planning, and execution of Occupational Therapy treatments based on patient/family preferences and developmental, medical needs. Maintain patient care documentation, adhere to guidelines, and support caseload management to meet productivity standards. Understand patient occupational performance challenges, supervise Level I & II OT and rehab studies students, interpret standardized test results, and develop individual care plans. Engage in special projects, research assistance, and supervision of OT I, II, and OTA staff. Conduct teaching, staff development, and credentialing for OTAs. Identify clinical expertise areas and resolve complex patient care issues while enhancing departmental performance.
