Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO, is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to join our team. You will evaluate patients, develop therapy plans, and provide hands-on interventions to promote independence and recovery.

Collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary care team, monitor progress, and document outcomes to ensure high-quality care. New graduates may apply; Missouri license and BLS are required upon hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Current Missouri State Occupational Therapy License.
• BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross upon hire.
• New graduates from accredited school may apply.

Responsabilités

• Evaluating each patient’s functional abilities and developing individualized therapy plans in coordination with physicians and the care team.
• Delivering skilled, evidence-based interventions that promote healing, independence, and quality of life through purposeful, compassionate care.
• Monitoring patient progress, adjusting plans, and ensuring thorough, timely documentation that reflects quality outcomes.
• Educating patients and families to build understanding, confidence, and engagement throughout recovery and beyond.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary partners to ensure seamless transitions of care, safe environments, and exceptional patient experiences.
• Leading by example—providing guidance to therapy assistants or students and upholding HCA Healthcare’s mission, values, and commitment to excellence.

Formation

Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy
