Job summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to organize and conduct medically prescribed rehabilitation programs, delivering patient care within the scope of the State Practice Act and in compliance with all rules and regulations.

The role requires a graduate of an accredited OT program, a current OT license or eligibility in Missouri (temporary license up to 90 days), and current BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Occupational Therapy license or eligibility within the hiring state; temporary license up to 90 days.
• Current BLS certification.
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by organizing and conducting medically prescribed rehab programs.
• Support department growth by assisting in special projects and coordinating activities in patient care programs.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program

OT licensure (current or eligibility in hiring state)

BLS certification

National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy (preferred)
