Job summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, Missouri, seeks a part-time Occupational Therapist to provide direct patient care in inpatient and outpatient rehab. You will follow state practice acts and maintain compliance with governing bodies while supporting department growth and program coordination.

Required: degree from an accredited OT program, active license or eligibility, BLS certification, and ability to respond to emergencies. NBOT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current OT license or eligibility in the hiring state; temporary license up to 90 days if needed.
• Current BLS certification.
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in inpatient/outpatient rehab per prescribed programs.
• Promote growth and development of the department by supporting special projects.
• Assist in coordinating activities within patient care programs.

Education

OT degree (Graduate of accredited Occupational Therapy program)

OT licensure or eligibility in hiring state

BLS Certification

National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy (preferred)
