Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, Missouri is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our inpatient/outpatient rehab team part-time. The role focuses on delivering patient-centered therapy within state practice guidelines to maximize functional potential.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited OT program, an active OT license or eligibility in Missouri (temporary license up to 90 days), and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Occupational Therapy license or eligibility within the hiring state; temporary license up to 90 days.
• Current BLS certification.
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient care in inpatient/outpatient rehab.

Provides patient care by organizing and conducting medically prescribed programs in order to achieve maximum potential. Displays treatment skills practicing within the scope of State Practice Act and in compliance with all rules and regulations with National Board and governing bodies in the state of practice. Promotes growth and development of department by assisting in special projects and/or coordinating activities in patient care programs.

Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
Licensure: Current Occupational Therapy license or eligibility within the hiring state, may work under a temporary license up to 90 days.

Preferred Certifications

National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy.
