Job summary

Corewell Health in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to deliver pediatric therapy under medical direction. You will educate patients and caregivers and coordinate adaptive equipment as required.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy with MI licensure upon hire; a registered OT credential (NBCOT/OTR) is required, and a driver’s license is expected. BLS is required within 90 days, with CHt preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy or equivalent from an accredited program.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in Michigan upon hire.
• NBCOT OT registration upon hire.
• Valid Michigan driver’s license on hire.
• BLS certification either from AHA or ARC within 90 days.
• Hand Therapist certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy to pediatric patients based on need and medical direction.

Standard Qualifications

• Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from an accredited occupational therapy program
• Preferred Master's Degree
• LIC-Occupational Therapist - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
• CRT-Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR) - NB-COT National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy Upon Hire required
• LIC-Driver's License - STATE_MI State of Michigan Home Care Business Lines Upon Hire required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required
• CRT-Hand Therapist, Certified (CHT) - HTCC Hand Therapy Certification Commission Hand Therapy Program Upon Hire preferred
