Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking an Occupational Therapist to work full time in our Acute Care setting. You will collaborate with a dynamic interdisciplinary team to treat Neuro, Trauma, Cardiac, Orthopedic and General Debility patients. The position emphasizes mentoring, ongoing education, and access to state-of-the-art equipment in a hospital environment.

New graduates are encouraged to apply. Licensure in Delaware is required (or eligibility), CPR certification, and AOTA preferred.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensure or license eligibility in the State of Delaware as an Occupational Therapist.
• CPR Certification.
• AOTA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT services in acute care across diverse patient populations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and mentor junior staff.
• Engage in ongoing education and utilize state-of-the-art equipment.
• Support professional development and participate in the career ladder initiatives.

ChristianaCare is seeking an Occupational Therapist to work full time in our Acute Care setting. This position requires some weekend hours and one holiday per year.

In this position, you will work with a dynamic team in this patient centered facility. This exciting position allows you to see a large variety of patient populations including Neuro, Trauma, Cardiac, Orthopedic and General Debility while working with a supportive team of OTs. The OT experience at ChristianaCare Health System offers a strong team approach, frequent interdisciplinary interaction, ongoing mentoring, state of the art equipment and professional level educational opportunities.

Education and experience requirements:

• BS, MS, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy
• Licensure or license eligibility in the State of Delaware as an Occupational Therapist
• CPR Certification
• AOTA preferred

Hourly Pay Range: $36.10 - $57.76

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
