Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Toledo is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. You will provide direct patient care, assess needs, and develop personalized treatment plans to promote independence and improved quality of life for our patients.

You will supervise care, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, document progress, and celebrate patient milestones while building meaningful relationships with patients and families.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master's Degree preferred, or Bachelor's Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of occupational therapy.
• Supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and addressing patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by understanding physical, mental, and emotional needs for successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories and milestones alongside patients and families.
