Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Requires 2 years of experience.
• Licensed by the North Carolina Occupational Therapy Board; BLS CPR is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats all diagnoses and more complex patients.
• Conducts thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities, medical history, and functional limitations to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administers therapeutic exercises and other occupational therapy interventions to improve strength, flexibility, and range of motion.
• Educates patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercises, and self-management techniques to improve recovery outcomes.
• Collaborates on discharge plans and recommendations for continued care, with guidance as needed.
• Monitors and documents patients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Collaborates with teams from different departments to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Assists with orientation and training of new staff and supports ongoing professional development.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
