Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients across the hospital system. You will develop evidence-based treatment plans and work under the supervision of the lead Therapist to support diverse populations, from infants to older adults.

Qualifications

• Education: A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current South Carolina licensure and NBCOT certification required.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
• Greater than 1 year of applicable experience required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patients for Occupational Therapy needs.
• Develops treatment plans based on assessment.
• Under the general supervision of the lead Therapist, functions as a staff therapist.
• Patient populations served: infant to geriatric across a variety of diagnoses.

Education

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy

South Carolina licensure (SC licensure)

NBCOT certification

BLS certification (AHA or ARC for Healthcare Providers)
