Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients across the lifespan, from infants to geriatrics, within the hospital system.

You will develop individualized treatment plans under the supervision of the lead Therapist and provide in- and outpatient care; SC licensure, NBCOT and BLS are required, with more than one year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current South Carolina licensure and NBCOT certification required.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Greater than 1 year of applicable experience required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patients for Occupational Therapy needs.
• Develops treatment plans based on assessment.
• Functions as a staff therapist under the supervision of the lead Therapist.
• Serves patient populations across lifespan in inpatient or outpatient hospital settings.
