Job summary

Sutter Health's SCAH-Sutter Care at Home - Outer Bay is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess, plan, and participate in rehabilitative programs that restore independence for patients with disabilities or developmental delays.

The role requires state-licensed OT, BLS certification, and at least 2 years of relevant experience. You will supervise assistants, provide clinical instruction, and ensure privacy and safety in all patient care activities.

Position Overview

Responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs that help build or restore vocational, homemaking, and daily living skills, as well as general independence, to persons with disabilities or developmental delays. Gains confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring and care, and effective communication. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. Provides clinical supervision of assistants and aides, and serves as clinical instructor for assigned students.

Job Description

• Graduate of accredited occupational therapy program.

Certification & Licensure

• OT-Occupational Therapist
• OR OLP-Occupational Limited Permit
• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

Typical Experience

Pay Range is $54.87 to $74.36 / hour

The posted pay range is based on the position's primary work location. Candidates who reside and work outside of that location may be subject to a different pay range based on their work location. Candidate starting salaries consider multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
