Baptist is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients, develop plans of care, and promote restoration of functional abilities in the hospital setting.

You will communicate progress, plan discharges, supervise students and support staff as needed, and participate in hospital committees to improve care delivery.

Graduate of an accredited OT program required; BLS and advanced practice certification preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• Proficient in documentation and compliance with policies.

Aufgaben

• Evaluates and assesses the patient based on subjective and objective information.
• Develops a written plan of care.
• Provides treatment according to established goals on plan of care.
• Documents interventions/care in the patient's medical record.
• Evaluates effectiveness of plan of care. Reassesses patient's functional status.
• Provides discharge planning information which includes education, follow-up, and referrals.
• Contributes to staff and student development.
• Participates in activities to improve health care delivery.
• Completes assigned goals.
