BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for full-time or part-time home health visits across Southern Anne Arundel & Calvert County.

Must be available Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5pm!

As a home care Occupational Therapist, you will be a key member of a multidisciplinary team providing rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to enable clients to remain at home.

Occupational Therapist, OT Responsibilities:

• Make home visits to clients in designated areas.
• Perform evaluations of patients’ functional status, including muscle function, endurance, visual coordination, communication skills, and ADL/IADL performance.
• Assess cognitive, psychological, and motor performance; develop individualized intervention plans.
• Evaluate home environments for hazards or barriers.
• Identify equipment needs and environmental adaptations.
• Continuously assess and update care plans, collaborating with nursing staff.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitative activities to promote health, safety, and independence.
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations accurately using a touch pad tablet.

Occupational Therapist, OT Qualifications:

• Current Maryland Occupational Therapist license.
• Preferred but not required: prior home care experience.
• At least one year of recent OT work experience.
• Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Solid computer skills; EMR experience preferred.
