BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an experienced
Occupational Therapist, OT, for a
Full Time or Part Time opportunity performing
home health visits throughout
Southern Anne Arundel & Calvert County.

Must be available Mon-Fri between the hours of 8:30am-5pm!
As a home care Occupational Therapist, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to clients, allowing them to remain at home.

Occupational Therapist, OT Responsibilities:

1. Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
2. Perform thorough evaluations of patients' functional status, including muscle function, endurance, visual coordination, communication skills, and ADL and IADL performance.
3. Assess cognitive, psychological, and motor aspects of performance and develop individualized intervention plans.
4. Evaluate home environment for hazards or barriers to independence.
5. Identify equipment needs and environmental adaptations to enhance outcomes.
6. Assess and revise the occupational therapy care plan, collaborating with nursing as appropriate.
7. Educate and instruct patients and family members in rehabilitative care and activities.
8. Document observations, interventions, and evaluations accurately using electronic devices.

Occupational Therapist, OT Qualifications:

1. Current Maryland Occupational Therapist license.
2. Prior home care experience preferred, but not required.
3. At least one year of recent work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
4. Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program.
5. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
6. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
7. Solid computer skills; experience with electronic medical records preferred.
