TalentBurst is seeking an Occupational Therapist for Home Health in Morganton, NC for a 13-week contract starting 10/19/2026. Typically 6 visits/day, day shift, 8 hours. Must have NC OT licensure, BLS, and driver’s license with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Approximately 6 visits per day in home health.
• Perform patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Document care activities and progress in the EHR/Homecare Homebase system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.

• Radius rule: Traveler s permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:

• Chronic diseases, wound care, IV, pleurx, wound vac

Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:

• Driver's License and proof of Insurance required
• OT: BLS; State Licensure required

Skills required:

• Charting experience with Homecare Homebase is required (no exceptions), IV, pleurx, wound vac, wound care, assessment, disease teaching, OASIS

Support within the Department:

• Departmental leadership
