Job summary

SportsMed Physical Therapy in New Jersey is seeking Home Care Occupational Therapists to provide in-home OT services to older adults, with an autonomous schedule and flexible hours.

You will assess, set rehabilitation goals, and document progress while coordinating with our care team. This part-time role offers growth opportunities and a supportive environment to build your caseload and schedule the way you want.

Qualifications

• New Jersey Occupational Therapist License is required.
• Medicare billing and documentation experience is required.
• Computer literacy is required.
• Team player mentality is required.
• Liability insurance is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Ability to wear PPE (masks, face shields, goggles, gloves, gowns) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT services to older adults in home/community settings.
• Assess patients and develop rehabilitation goals.
• Coordinate scheduling with the Coordinator to manage caseloads.
• Complete notes thoroughly and promptly.
• Attend company-wide meetings to discuss initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Maintain communication with Coordinator to successfully schedule your patients in a timely manner
• Complete notes thoroughly and within a timely manner
• Attend company-wide meetings to discuss various company initiatives to continuously improve clinical excellence and patient care.
