Job summary

Orlando Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to treat injured, ill, or disabled patients through the therapeutic use of everyday activities to develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working.

You will evaluate patients, gather data from the patient, physician, interdisciplinary team meetings when available, family and other data sources, and develop treatment plans with clear goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an approved program in occupational therapy.
• Maintains current Occupational Therapist license in the State of Florida, temporary permit acceptable.
• Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and gathers data from the patient, physician, interdisciplinary team meetings when available, family and data sources.
• Develops treatment plans with specific goals and objectives.
• Treats patients in accordance with age-specific needs and departmental policies.
• Assesses data to identify each patient’s requirements relative to age-specific needs and care.
• Maintains documentation and accurate billing.
