Athletico Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist in Ohio to improve patients’ daily living and work abilities. The OT will treat complex upper extremity cases, fabricate orthoses, and guide clients toward independent, productive lives.

Documentation, billing, and physician reporting are integral parts of the role. Qualified candidates hold a Bachelors/Master/Doctorate in OT, current OT licensure, CPR certification, and 2 years of hand therapy experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
• Current Professional licensure as an Occupational Therapist and state licensure as required
• 2 years of Hand Therapy Experience required
• Current CPR Certification

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by developing a plan using treatment techniques to promote movement, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability.
• Interpret prescriptions, perform initial evaluation, and establish a treatment plan with functional goals
• Perform custom orthosis fabrication and training to patient
• Document all treatment in patient charts and communicate with physicians/case managers in a timely manner
• Determine discharge plans and follow-up
• Support clinic staff in patient care and administrative tasks
• Maintain HIPAA/PHI and OSHA compliance
