Job summary

Select Physical Therapy is seeking a PRN Hand Therapist-Occupational Therapist for our outpatient orthopedic center in Tamarac, FL. The role involves hand and upper-extremity evaluation and treatment, coordinating with our network of hand therapists.

A CHt is preferred, but a level II fieldwork in hands may be acceptable. We offer mentorship, access to national certifications, ongoing education, and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AOTA-accredited school of occupational therapy.
• CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat hand and upper-extremity conditions.
• Coordinate care with network of hand therapists.
• Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management.

Position: Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapist
Location: 7160 N University Dr., Tamarac, FL 33321
Schedule: Weekdays, 2 days/week, PRN
Compensation: $40-$50/hour pending experience

Select Physical Therapy is seeking a PRN Hand Therapist-Occupational Therapist for our outpatient orthopedic center! Although a certified hand therapist (CHT) is preferred, we are willing to consider occupational therapists with a level II fieldwork in hands (required). We have a network of hand therapists and CHTs available for support and are excited to mentor occupational therapists aspiring to be a CHT.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) -accredited school of occupational therapy
• CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic
• Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience preferred
