Select Physical Therapy in Spring Hill, FL is seeking a per diem Occupational Therapist – Hand Therapist for our outpatient orthopedic center. The role involves evaluating and treating upper extremity conditions with a focus on hand therapy, splinting, and evidence-based care.

This PRN position offers a flexible schedule Monday–Friday with a $50/hr pay rate. Experience with hand therapy, Level 2 fieldwork, and an OT license are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school for Occupational Therapy.
• National registration and state licensure required.
• Minimum of 1 year recent hand therapy experience.
• CPR certification.
• Valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan of care, treat, re-evaluate, discharge and communicate high-quality hand therapy services to patients.
• Develop treatment plans, supervise assistants, contribute to case management, and provide quality patient care.
• Maintain positive interactions with facilities and staff to expand client relations.

Occupational Therapist – Hand Therapist (PRN)Location: Spring Hill FL 34609Schedule: Monday–Friday, PRNPay: $50/hr

Select Physical Therapy is hiring a per diem Occupational Therapist – Hand Therapist for our outpatient orthopedic center in Spring Hill, FL. We treat a wide range of upper extremity conditions including tendon injuries, sprains, strains, and post-op fractures. Splinting experience is preferred. Occupational Therapist with Level 2 and Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 1 yr recent hand therapy experience required.

You’ll work in a well-equipped center alongside top hand surgeons, using evidence-based practices and individualized care plans. We offer mentorship toward CHT certification and are part of a thriving national Hand Therapy program.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the evaluation, plan of care, treatment, re-evaluation, discharge, and appropriate communications of high quality hand therapy services to patients and customers.
• Develop treatment plans, supervise assistants and aides, contribute to case management, and provide quality patient care.
• Maintain positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
• Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school for Occupational Therapy.
• National registration and state licensure or registration REQUIRED to start.
• Newly licensed OT graduates with level 2 fieldwork in hand therapy and Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 1 year current hand therapy
• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
• Valid state driver’s license
