The OT will identify patients: Inpatients, Outpatients, Home Health/Hospice, Sub-Acute Unit (neonates to geriatrics). Responsibilities include age-specific assessments, developing care plans, performing treatments, evaluating responses, and assisting with discharge planning. The OT uses exercises, equipment, and physical agents to improve mobility and reduce pain. Education on treatment, disease, and injury prevention is provided to patients, families, and healthcare teams. Delegation and supervision of Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants and support staff are required. Participation in community engagement, operational improvements, and maintaining documentation and budget awareness are also expected. The position is based at the Eau Claire Outpatient Hand Clinic.
Must have or be eligible for an Occupational Therapy degree from an accredited institution; Master’s preferred. Certification from the American Occupational Therapy Association is preferred but not required. Valid Wisconsin Occupational Therapy License and BLS certification are required. Basic computer skills, knowledge of physical medicine, anatomy, and physiology, and good decision-making skills are essential. Driver’s license may be required depending on the location.
Position is exempt, full-time, with a salary range of $69,058.08 - $103,502.88 annually. Benefits are included. Schedule involves weekly hours, including monthly weekend hospital coverage. The role is located at the Eau Claire Outpatient Hand Clinic.
