Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapist

Hourly Range: $53.00 - $60.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Job Location: 60 Old New Milford Road, Brookfield, CT (Fairfield County; outpatient clinic)

Job Type: Part-time (Starting at fewer than 19 hours per week, with potential for growth. Schedule will be determined based on clinic's needs. Further details to be discussed during interview.)

Responsibilities

You’ll Achieve Success By:

• Reviewing patient medical history and developing individualized treatment plans
• Diagnosing patients through observation and listening to concerns
• Using exercises, stretching, equipment, and manual therapy to manage pain and improve mobility
• Recording patient progress and modifying treatment plans as needed

Qualifications

• Licensed in CT as an Occupational Therapist
• Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success
• Basic computer skills
• CPR and First Aid certification required
• Open to new grads; MUST have level 2 fieldwork experience in orthopedics and hand therapy
• Level 2 fieldwork experience in hand therapy, some continuing education courses, and 1 year of outpatient orthopedics and hand therapy experience as a licensed OT preferred or CHT eligible (accumulated 4000 hours of hand therapy experience and 3 years of experience), waiting to sit for boards
• CHT certification a plus
