Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Therapist who is a graduate of an ACOTE accredited school.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough resident evaluations to determine functional abilities and limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on resident assessments and goals.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve residents' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily living activities.
• Directly supervise a Certified OT Assistant (COTA) and communicate the treatment plan details to the care team.
• Monitor resident progress and adjust plans as needed to ensure outcomes.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on techniques and assistive devices to support daily living.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care, plans, and progress notes.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize recovery.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe therapy environment.
