Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide patient care within the Critical Care Medicine Fellowship.

The role involves organizing and conducting medically prescribed programs to help patients achieve maximum potential, while adhering to state practice act guidelines and governing regulations. The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited OT program, hold or be eligible for licensure in the hiring state, and maintain current BLS.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Occupational Therapy license or be eligible within the hiring state.
• Current BLS certification is required or preferred.
• Ability to respond to emergency situations as needed.
• National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by organizing and conducting medically prescribed programs.
• Promote growth and development of the department by assisting in special projects and coordinating activities.
