Apple Rehab Guilford is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team at a 86-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center on Guilford's waterfront. The OT will provide patient-centered therapy to help residents improve daily living skills and independence, using evidence-based approaches and collaboration with the care team.

Responsibilities include evaluations, developing treatment plans, and supervising assistants while maintaining HIPAA and safety standards.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited OT program with current OT license.
• Federal, State- and GHR-required credentials current and on file.

Responsabilidades

• Helps patient to develop, recover, or maintain daily living and work skills
• Aids patients in improving their basic motor functions and reasoning abilities
• Assists patients in performing activities of daily living and self-care tasks
• Incorporates therapeutic exercises to improve strength and dexterity
• Uses assessment to plan individualized therapy and tracks patient progress
• Supervises and directs the duties of occupational therapy assistants
• Completes required orientation and follows facility safety procedures
