Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive OT services to patients, focusing on developing, recovering, and maintaining functional skills. You will assess patients, design and implement treatment plans, and document progress to ensure optimal outcomes.

The role requires state licensure and BLS within 30 days of hire, with the ability to work in a fast-paced setting and collaborate with families and care teams.

Qualifications

• State Licensure for Occupational Therapy
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
• Able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Responsibilities

• Provides occupational therapy services to patients to develop, recover and maintain skills.
• Assesses patient ability to perform occupational skills safely and effectively.
• Designs plan of care, including type and frequency of treatment.
• Implements treatment plan using appropriate modalities.
• Documents progress and findings, both subjective and objective.
• Monitors and modifies plan of care; seeks consultation as needed.
• Educates patient and family/caregiver about deficits and plan of care.
• Plans/discharges patients from therapy services and treatment setting.
• Supervises and delegates care by assistants according to licensing laws.
