Job summary

Luxor at Mills Pond Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our growing team. The OT will assess referred patients, develop and supervise treatment plans, and educate patients and families on therapy methods.

The ideal candidate will have graduated from an accredited OT program, hold a valid license, and have experience in long-term or geriatric care. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and ensure thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapist college or university.
• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred.
• Well versed with documentation writing.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients' rehabilitation needs and provide direct patient care.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with goals according to patient capacity.
• Document patient condition and educate patients and families.
• Oversee and supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to provide best patient-centered treatment and care.
• Report to work on time and maintain professional conduct.
