Job summary

AdventHealth in Ocala, FL is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients. You will implement individualized plans, document outcomes, and educate patients and families while adhering to payer guidelines.

The role requires strong communication and EMR proficiency, with a Master's in Occupational Therapy preferred and Current OT licensure. Day shift, full-time position in a hospital setting with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English fluently.
• Experience with EMR systems and basic software tools.

Responsibilities

• Performs evaluations and re-evaluations using standard techniques.
• Develops and implements individualized treatment plans with goals and frequency.
• Documents accurately and timely using objective terminology.
• Educates patients and caregivers and delivers discharge recommendations.
• Discharges patients when maximum benefit is achieved per standards and payer guidelines.
