Job summary

Positive Development is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to provide in-home specialty services across Ventura, CA, with occasional on-site support in Santa Barbara. The role is hourly, non-exempt, with a base pay of $60 per hour and an additional $20 per hour for admin/training tasks.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, creating child-specific treatment plans, supervising paraprofessionals, and completing required documentation.

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapy license in California is required.
• Experience in Early Intervention is highly preferred.
• Ability to travel in-home to provide services.

• Conduct assessments for clinical service, provide specialized services, and manage various client cases; supervise paraprofessionals providing clinical and administrative guidance.
• Carry out in-home sessions tailored to the child’s treatment plan.
• Attend weekly staff meetings and trainings; contribute to case discussions.
• Complete administrative tasks such as notes, progress reports, certifications, and renewals for continued employment.

Location: In-Home Throughout Ventura, CA with occasional on-site support to Santa Barbara, CA

Job Type: Hourly, Non-Exempt

• Follow administrative requests such as keeping current notes, progress reports, employee certifications, or any other required documentation/renewals necessary for continued employment

Minimum Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapy License in California is required
