Job summary

Banner Rehabilitation Hospital - Tucson is seeking an Occupational Therapist for our inpatient rehabilitation program. Qualifications

• Current and valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist or eligibility.
• BLS certification required or completed within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements and modifies treatment plans according to patient needs and physician direction.
• Oversees delegation and direction of all therapy services for assigned patients to ensure functional return to community activities.
• Educates patients, families, students, coworkers, and self on therapy goals and progress.
• Performs other professional duties related to patient care and the design of therapy services.

• Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for those assigned patients. Ensures the design of functional treatment programs allowing for an effective return to community activities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an Occupational Therapist required.
• Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment is required.
