Rehab United in San Diego County seeks an upbeat Occupational Therapist to join a growing multi-location team. You will evaluate patients, design individualized plans including hand therapy, and collaborate with physicians and therapists to deliver comprehensive care.

The role splits time between Kearny Mesa and another clinic, offering mentorship, ongoing education, and strong patient-focused outcomes within a family-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in CA (national registration and CA licensure).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and biomechanics, esp. upper extremity.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; ongoing professional development.
• CPR/First aid certification required; hand therapy certs desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and cognitive abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans including hand therapy and neuro rehab.
• Educate patients and caregivers on managing symptoms and improving outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and physical therapists to provide comprehensive care.

Rehab United is seeking an OT who can improve the health and wellness of the patients in our Kearny Mesa facility for initial training and split time between Kearny Mesa and another clinic location based on clinic needs. Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and cognitive abilities, as well as their environment and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Develop individualized treatment plans for patients, incorporating hand therapy and neurological rehabilitation techniques
• Educate patients and their caretakers on effective strategies for managing symptoms and improving outcomes
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and physical therapists, to provide well-rounded, comprehensive care
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with company and insurance standards

Required Qualifications:

• Occupational TherapyLicense- National registration and CA state licensure areREQUIRED.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics, particularly of the upper extremity
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continued education
• CPR/First aid certification required
• Hand Therapy certifications desired

Compensation:

$36.00-$55.00 Hourly (commensurate with prior experience as a licensed therapist)
NOTE: FLSA status will transition from hourly non-exempt to salaried exempt following 90 days of employment, provided the criteria outlined in California's salaried exempt regulations is fulfilled.
