Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - McKeesport, part of Select Medical, is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to support post-ICU patient recovery. This full-time OT role (32 hours weekly) is based at our McKeesport campus, with Monday–Friday scheduling and strong hospital support.

The OT will lead discharge planning, supervise OTAs/students, and deliver individualized therapy plans while monitoring progress. A competitive benefits package and ongoing education opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Certified BLS or completion within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in discharge planning for each patient, including placement, patient/family education and adaptive equipment.
• Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants (OTAs), as well as OT and COTA students.
• Conduct individual patient therapy regimens.
• Monitor patients’ responses to treatment.
• Participate in continuing education seminars and in-services.
