Job summary

Open Sky Community Services, Inc. is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support youth and adults across multiple programs in Massachusetts. The role involves assessment, treatment planning, and delivering individual and group therapy to improve independence and daily functioning.

You will collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to provide evidence-based, person-centered care and promote meaningful participation in daily life.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts OT license and NBCOT certification required.
• Experience with youth and young adults with mental health challenges.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history.

Responsibilities

• Assess functional abilities and contribute to intervention plans.
• Identify sensory processing challenges and implement strategies.
• Provide individual and group therapeutic interventions.
• Communicate evaluation findings and treatment recommendations with the team.
• Develop individualized OT treatment plans based on strengths and goals.
• Provide training and support for community participation and ADLs/IADLs.
• Promote independence across home, school, work, and community environments.
