Job summary

Pro Rehab, an established Rehab company, is hiring an Occupational Therapist to float between Starbuck and Wheaton, MN. We offer $45-$53 per hour, with mileage reimbursement ($0.70/mile) and a $5,000 bonus paid over 18 months, plus tuition reimbursement.

No productivity requirements; new grads are welcome. As part of Pro Rehab, you will assess patients, develop and implement treatment plans, and guide therapeutic activities to improve daily living and work-related skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Program and hold a bachelor's degree.
• Must possess current MN Occupational Therapy (OTR) License.
• Knowledge of state, federal, and local regulations pertaining to long-term care.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients to understand physical, cognitive, and emotional needs affecting daily activities.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to improve independence in daily tasks and work-related functions.
• Provide therapeutic activities to enhance motor skills and coordination.
• Educate and support patients and families with coping strategies, home modifications, and independence techniques.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans based on patient improvements and documentation.
• Collaborate with doctors, physical therapists, and other professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to float between our Starbuck and Wheaton area ! We offer a competitive wage, benefits, mileage reimbursement ($.70 / mile) and up to a $5,000 bonus paid out over 18 months or tuition reimbursement . No Productivity Requirements! Position Type: Full-Time

Wage Range: $45 - $53 / hour depending on experience.

Bonus: $5,000

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities

• Assess & Evaluate Patients: Conduct evaluations to understand patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs affecting daily activities.
• Develop & Implement Treatment Plans: Create personalized intervention programs to improve independence in daily tasks and work-related functions.
• Provide Therapeutic Activities: Guide patients through exercises, adaptive techniques, and assistive device training to enhance motor skills and coordination.
• Educate & Support Patients & Families: Provide patient and caregiver education such as but not limited to: coping strategies, home modifications, and techniques to improve quality of life and independence.
• Monitor Progress & Adjust Plans: Track patient improvements, document progress, and modify treatment approaches as needed.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work with doctors, physical therapists, and other professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Occupational Therapist Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Program and have a bachelor's degree.
• Must possess a current Accredited MN Occupational Therapy (OTR) License
• Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care.
• Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
