Job summary

Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist for inpatient rehabilitation. The role involves comprehensive therapeutic patient care for neonatal through geriatric patients, documentation, and participating in program development to improve clinical outcomes.

The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy, a current state license, and BCLS certification, with relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.

Schedule Details/Additional Information: Full Time, 40 hour position, Mon-Fri with rotating weekend coverage

Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30

What You'll Need

Job Description

Provides comprehensive therapeutic patient care for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients to ensure positive patient outcomes. Educates the patient, significant others, and other health care providers to assure continuity of the patient care plan. Interacts with other departments and members of the medical team in developing and implementing interdisciplinary patient care plans to ensure comprehensive medical care. Supervises occupational therapy and occupational therapy assistant students to develop their clinical skills and ensure the delivery of quality patient care. Demonstrates effective communication and interpersonal skills required to lead staff and/or program development projects in the areas of strategic effectiveness, clinical outcomes, clinical competency, or financial performance.
