Job summary

Georgetown Nursing Center in South Carolina is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat residents with physical, mental, or developmental needs to improve daily living skills.

You will work under physician orders, develop care plans, educate residents and caregivers on adaptive equipment, and maintain accurate patient records. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and upfront sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Occupational Therapy required or preferred.
• Certified or registered by the NCBOT.
• Licensed in Occupational Therapy as required by state law.
• One year of clinical OT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under a physician's orders, screens and evaluates resident/patient and develops a care plan.
• Assists residents in activities of daily living such as dressing, cooking, and eating.
• Educates residents and caregivers in adaptive equipment use.
• Maintains patient records accurately and timely.
• Devises tools and treatments for patient needs.
• Completes forms and documents per policy and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
