Job summary

Favorite Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a full-time, on-site role in Fairbanks, Alaska. You will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and implement therapy to improve functional independence while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

You'll manage documentation, educate families and care teams, and participate in quality initiatives. Alaska licensure and BLS are required; open to new graduates with a comprehensive benefits package and relocation

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current (or eligible) Occupational Therapist license in Alaska.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong clinical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
• Implement and adjust therapy based on patient progress
• Establish measurable goals and support discharge planning
• Educate patients, families, and care teams on treatment strategies
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers for coordinated care
• Supervise and delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate
• Participate in departmental operations and quality improvement initiatives
