Job summary

A reputable rehabilitation company located in New Jersey seeks an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients, develop treatment plans, and supervise other staff. The successful candidate will have a degree in Occupational Therapy and be licensed in the relevant state. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams. Qualifications

• Licensed in the state(s) where services are being provided as an Occupational Therapist.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion.
• Maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients for rehabilitation services within 24 to 48 hours of physician’s orders.
• Develop effective treatment plans.
• Supervise the Occupational Therapy Assistant in clinical services.
• Communicate with physicians and families regarding patient progress.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
