Job summary

Concept Rehab, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist in Ironton, Ohio, to evaluate and treat patients while supervising therapy assistants. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Occupational Therapy and required state licensure. Responsibilities also include developing treatment plans, recording patient progress, and providing staff training. Qualifications

• Evaluate patients for rehabilitation services within 24 to 48 hours of physician's orders.
• Develop effective treatment plans.
• Treat patients according to the treatment plan of care.
• Supervise the Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Communicate with health team members regarding patient progress.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Plan of Care Meetings.
• Record treatment notes and progress notes.
• Instruct families or nursing staff in maintenance programs.
• Participate in discharge planning.
