Job summary

Millennium Therapy is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for a full-time role in Keystone, IA, serving a Skilled Nursing setting. The position offers 30-40 hours per week with flexible scheduling and a benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO and Continuing Education.

Candidates must have a BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy and state licensure; two years of clinical experience preferred and strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Occupational Therapy plus state licensure; two years of clinical experience preferred.
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Utilizes independent clinical judgment, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Employs strong time management skills.
• Shows strong organizational and analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient/resident assessment, care planning and direct treatment for a general rehab caseload.
• Participates in the clinical team process and provides teaching to caregiver staff.
• Contributes to clinical program development.
• Supervises other licensed OTs, assistants, technicians, aides, and students as required; may assume additional admin duties in larger programs.
