Job summary

A leading rehabilitation therapy provider in Velva, North Dakota is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a PRN/on-call position offering 20 hours per week with a flexible schedule. The role involves assessing and treating patients, planning new programs, and supervising COTA’s. A Bachelor's or higher degree in Occupational Therapy and eligibility for ND state licensure are required. Qualifications

• Bachelors (B.A., B.S.) or Master's degree (M.A., M.S.) or Doctorate (OTD) in Occupational Therapy.
• Graduate of a certified occupational therapy program.
• Possess or be eligible for ND state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients.
• Plan, market and develop new programs.
• Communicate with patients, patients’ families and physicians and staff.
• Present in-services to fellow staff therapists.
• Assist in the general operation of the department.
• Supervise COTA’s in accordance to state regulations as necessary.
