Job summary

Citrus Health and Rehabilitation in Inverness, FL is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our rehab team on a per diem basis. You will provide high-quality OT services in a subacute care setting, helping patients improve daily living skills and achieve rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience in rehabilitation or subacute care is preferred.
• Strong assessment and intervention skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients’ occupational performance and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing patient goals.
• Provide direct therapy interventions to improve daily living, work-related, and leisure skills.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, SLPs, and PTs for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families about therapy techniques and home exercises.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records per regulatory standards.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute insights to care improvements.
• Stay updated on best practices and advancements in occupational therapy.
