Job summary

Holy Cross Health in Germantown, MD, is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to assess and treat patients referred for occupational therapy in a professional manner while adhering to Maryland state laws and AOTA Ethics Standards.

The role requires an OT degree, current Maryland license, and BLS. You must be able to work some weekdays and 1-2 weekend days per month, with acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate with B.S./M.S. in Occupational Therapy.
• Current Maryland license verified by the Maryland State Board.
• Completion of at least six months of supervised fieldwork.
• Current BLS (American Heart Association).
• Proficient in English and able to use basic computer systems for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with physicians, medical professionals, staff, and families to ensure quality of care.
• Provides assessment and care for patients from neonate to geriatric.
• Receives additional training for special programs and guidelines as determined by department.
• Adheres to AOTA Code of Ethics and Standards.
• Supports Trinity Health and Holy Cross Health mission.
