Job summary

SunnyDays Therapy Inc. is seeking an Occupational Therapist Feeding Specialist to assess and treat children with feeding difficulties. You will collaborate with families, provide evidence-based therapy, and document progress within a multidisciplinary team.

The role focuses on developing individualized feeding therapy plans, delivering hands-on sessions, and staying current with best practices. This is a full-time on-site position at our Albertville and Waconia clinics, with a schedule that

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Minnesota Department of Health Occupational Therapy License (or in process of applying).
• 2 years' experience in pediatric feeding therapy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with confidence and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate feeding difficulties in children.
• Develop and implement individualized feeding therapy plans tailored to each child's needs and goals.
• Provide hands-on therapy sessions using a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and the multidisciplinary team for holistic care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and treatment plans.
• Stay current with best practices in pediatric feeding therapy through continuing education.

Locations:

We are hiring for our Albertville and Waconia clinics.

Schedule:

This is a full-time position. We will work with you to determine a schedule that meets your needs and the needs of your clients! We treat clients Monday through Friday from 8 AM - 6 PM.

Occupational Therapist Feeding Specialist Position Summary:

As an Occupational Therapist Feeding Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assessing and treating children with feeding difficulties, collaborating with families and caregivers, and providing compassionate, evidence-based therapy interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate feeding difficulties in children.
• Develop and implement individualized feeding therapy plans tailored to each child's unique needs and goals.
• Provide hands-on therapy sessions using a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to therapy.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and treatment plans.
• Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of pediatric feeding therapy through continuing education and professional development.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a full-time base salary of $63,000 - $72,000/annually based on licensure and experience, with additional monthly & annual performance bonuses. We also offer a competitive benefits package including:

Minimum Qualifications:

Physical Requirements:

This role involves working with children of all ages and may require light work including but not limited to movement of treatment equipment, lifting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and reaching.
